Venice is like the modern day 'bundus'. There are no roads, no cars, no bicycles. So, if you're into boats, canals and stunning buildings floating on water - then Venice is a must for you.
Amsterdam has never been on my travel bucket list. However, once the opportunity to visit Amsterdam availed its self – I became excited & wanted to know more about the place. So, after doing a few touristy things in the 2 days that I was there, here are my 5 reasons to love Amsterdam.
Sometimes, we get so caught up in life that we start making excuses for not doing the simplest of things in life such as travel. I'm guilty of that too.
There are a few things that Kelly (awesome Topdeck tour leader) shared with us about Italy (others I researched). I’ll share the ones that stood out for me, it's really just 2.
I think throughout the whole tour, hubsta & I were waiting for our arrival in Rome. Well, of course, we would be, we've watched "Gladiator" & "Spartacus" over & over with the goal of visiting Rome one day just to shout "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!" at the Colosseum.
So, what does one do in Florence when they have only a day? Here it goes! We started off with a private leather demonstration; we now know what makes Italian leather special. Included on our itinerary was a Florence walking tour which, by the way, can only be done by a local #TisTheLaw.
Now, here is one country I could grow old in, Switzerland. If you're one for efficiency, then Switzerland is for you. If you're one for the cleanest water in the world, then Switzerland is for you.
