Venice is like the modern day 'bundus'. There are no roads, no cars, no bicycles. So, if you're into boats, canals and stunning buildings floating on water - then Venice is a must for you.
Amsterdam has never been on my travel bucket list. However, once the opportunity to visit Amsterdam availed its self – I became excited & wanted to know more about the place. So, after doing a few touristy things in the 2 days that I was there, here are my 5 reasons to love Amsterdam.
Sometimes, we get so caught up in life that we start making excuses for not doing the simplest of things in life such as travel. I'm guilty of that too.
It was very empowering & inspiring to watch these beautiful women who are married, some are working mums – to be so confident & happy in their skin. To be that hot in your later 30’s or 40’s is just amazing!
Being a woman is a challenge because: We constantly have to deal with double standards. We can never be selfish in a way that the opposite sex is, it’s not in our DNA.
While I don’t bake that much, this I will definitely give a try!
For unknown reasons I go through phases of buying bananas and then they just sit there and look at me. So obviously I needed to make banana bread, but a run of the mill bread would not do, no it was time to find a great gluten-free chocolate banana bread. And I did not have too far to look; the first book I opened seemed to do the job rather brilliantly…Ingredients
- ¾ cup almond flour
- ¼ cup coconut flour
- ¾ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or other oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup (250 grams) mashed banana (around 2 ripe bananas)
- ¼ cup maple syrup or honey
- ½ cup finely shaved or ground dark chocolate
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
